Vishal Veeru Devgan, born as Vishal Veeru Devgan, is a renowned Indian actor, filmmaker, and film producer working primarily in Hindi cinema. Famed as one of Bollywood's leading actors, he has featured in over 100 films and won many honors, such as 4 National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. In 2016, he was honored with the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award. Devgn stepped into Bollywood with the action-romance *Phool Aur Kaante* (1991), a blockbuster that catapulted him to fame. He later starred in successful action films such as *Jigar* (1992), *Suhaag* (1994), *Vijaypath* (1994), and romantic hits like *Ishq* (1997) and *Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam* (1999).
